Review – Urban Decay 24/7 eyeliner in Demolition

Let’s be honest Demolition by Urban Decay is Basic Brown.

And there is absolutely nothing wrong with that. If you are a shade NC45ish/50ish in MAC or paler a  deep matte brown is very useful.

Sometimes the blackest black isn’t the most appropriate for day wear so a nice deep matte brown can be great on the lashline or smudged across the lid as a super basic smokey eye.

They are also great because they have really great staying power I don’t get smudges or disappearing eyeliner for at least 9 hours!

These Urban decay pencils are supremely soft and creamy and glide across the lash line and the water line very easily and they make a great base for eyeshadow looks  or even on their own.

My one pet peeve  is the cap, I find that it  doesn’t fit as well as I would like and all too often I find this pencil in my makeup bag with lid unattached. Which leads to the other problem, the pencil dries out and gets hard much too quickly because it.

If Urban Decay were more accessible to me in Barbados I would definitely repurchase ( and keep stored carefully) but  alas such is not the case.

Have you tried Urban Decay 24/ 7 pencils? What are your thoughts?

Until Next Friday 🙂

P.S  the Urban Decay pencil formula is very similar to the Black UP waterproof Kohl Pencils ( Purchased in Cave Shepherd)  and the Milani Liquid like eye pencils (found in (Imart and Beauty Supplies stores ) which are both available in Barbados.
